A rotten lie from a Rotten poster?

Or is it true and the club know this is the sort of dirty rotten cheating we'll need to resort to in order to stay up

Maybe we'll get bit in paper tomorrow

He'll have to go abroad if he wants to resurrect his career - Turkey would be my bet.

Only two on loan players can be registered at a time in the Premier League. Only £20mil to spend this summer. Having to scour free transfers for experienced players on cheap wages. What a mess we're in. We need a takeover and fast.

Four in total though hence scouring overseas clubs

No, we are not in a mess.
We are a club that does not have unlimited funds and may struggle to stay in the PL, but there is no recent evidence that we are not being properly managed.
I would rather we bring in one or two like Anel and a couple of good PL loans than spend £100m on players not up to the job.

£100m,where from?Have i missed something?

Very good player.

But personally I don't think its wise to have the circus of his previous off field stuff come into the club.

Abroad deffo would make more sense for him.

Case dropped, still with girlfriend, had a baby together.

Comes with some baggage, but, we've always got to have a questionable badboy in the squad otherwise what's the point.

It's four over the course of the whole season, but only two can be registered at any time. So if you take two season long loans then the other two can't be used.
This season, we can a maximum of 5 loanees. 2 from PL/Champ/L1/L2/Scot P and 3 from the continent. The rules relating to the domestic 2 are:
  • PL clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time from other Premier League clubs.
  • The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.
  • Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window.
  • A Premier League club may loan not more than one of its goalkeepers to another Premier League club.
Last season Fulham had Cedric on loan from Arsenal, Dan James from Leeds and Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk.

In the 19/20 season, Fulham had Loftus-Cheek (30 apps) on loan from Chelsea, Lemina (28 apps) on loan from Southampton, Areola (36 apps) on loan from PSG, Lookman (34 apps) on loan from Leipzig, Aina (31 apps) on loan from Torino, Anderson on loan from Lyon (31 apps) and Maja (15 apps) on loan from Bordeaux.

When Fulham played Burnley on the 10th May 2020, Areola, Anderson, Lemina & Lookman started and Maja, Loftus-Cheek and Aina were on the bench.

2 from other English clubs at any one time, 4 over the season.
Any number from oversees.
7 from overseas after the new FIFA rulings.

Whilst i think this is a market to exploit, I think we also need to give more focus on better managing the contracts of players we currently have.

Letting key starters come to the final 13 months of their deal seems unnecessary.

At no point has it become likely that we'll be looking to push Baldock or Egan out the door. So why allow them to enter the final 12 months of their deals?

Having Jebbo and Osula tied down also makes sense.

Was it Fergie who advised against letting too many run out at the same time?

As well as those two stalwarts, we have two of our most marketable, Ndiaye and Berge also running their deals down.

When was the last time we offeree an improved deal to a player?

When Ndiaye started to click with Gibbs-White, that was the time to up the wages and add another year or so.

Still, I think we'll give it a good go and be difficult proposition at home bo matter who we sign.

But regardless of division, we should try to ensure a good core is under contract, rather than currently. I think we only have about 3 midfielders signed up!

In the press last week about Greenwood going out on loan, mentioned but doesn't guarantee that he'll be going abroad away from the media which seems sensible.

Absolute negligence from the club. At the time we should have been offering contracts out we were under embargo. We're now in a situation where we're in the Premier League and have to offer contracts to players who might not be Premier League standard next season. Undoubtedly, paying more for the same players in the process.

A friend of the family, a psycho-therapist by profession did some wonderful work
with a member of the 'Lydon' circle.

As a gesture of thanks, Lydon Snr had a United shirt made especially for him,
with the name 'Therapist 10' on the back.

Unfortunately, whoever printed it left a space between the E & R and to this day,
it's never seen the light of day at any football match.

I love the rational, sensibility of this post.
