Scotland lose again !!

Scotland were utter dogshite tonight... And the worst of it is, on paper, the squad looks decent. Every player played like a shadow of themselves though.

McLeish has been a disastrous appointment that nobody up here wanted. I've long believed Scotland will go nowhere by employing the same identikit Scottish dinosaurs again and again. Something drastic needs to be done and soon. Young Scots are becoming completely disinterested in the national team and it's hard to blame them really.

I was shocked at how bad that were. On paper it looked a side that should have beat Israel but there were lucky to get away with the result they did.

How McLeish got the job heaven only knows. Fleck and Coutts are better off staying well away from that negative clown.

Israel could’ve had double figures in that game last night. Israel ffs.

Fleck, Coutts and dare I say it, Bannan, should all walk into that side.

As a Scott those comments hurt but all are true and no hiding away from it
The manager is a complete embarrassment

FF I’m a Blade

Hopefully they keep playing the same shite team. The only possible downside from Fleck not getting in the squad is that he might decide to move to another club to get a game for the (not so) mighty Scotland. However if he can’t get a game in a team at the top of the Championship then he probably won’t get a game if he moves elsewhere.

Fuck them, I hope they fail to qualify for the next 20 world cups. That’s not from a position of being a spiteful Englishman, it’s just what they deserve.

Scotland have this big chip on there shoulder that players in Scotland or those who have played there recently are obviously better than the ones that move down to England?

Naismith starts ahead of Mcburnie?
Mcginn instead of Fleck
Stuart Armstrong doesn’t start since his move to Southampton.

They need to realise there league is very very poor. Naismith come to England and struggled Mcburnie is one of the best prospects outside the premiership.

, yeah thats it brexit, surely it's now time for a referendum

As Alex Salmond said, "once in a generation " or more likely, every 3 years if they think there's a chance of winning.

It's not just McLeish. The whole SFA is a shambles. The two semi finals on the same day fiasco summed it up.
As others have said , Fleck and Coutts are well out of that rabble.

3 years is a generation in parts of Scotland

Scots were total garbage. Unbelievably bad performance. Very glad Fleck and Coutts aren’t involved with that shambles

Agreed, apart from them as individuals getting the honour of representing their country, I'd rather them have the break to rest & focus on the domestic season than add to fatigue & possible injury playing for Scotland

Kick myself with Scotland, heard McCoist and Brazil on Talksport yesterday morning banging on about the odds for the game, with the Jocks being 4/6 favourites, at the time I was thinking lump on Israel but never got around to going to a bookies!!!

Four years at a decent Everton side isn’t really struggling. He’s 32 and seems to be on the decline but he didn’t struggle in England. Their league is poor though, an average championship player will look good in the SPL.

Another sad day for me. How can a Manager who has two good left full backs play both of them out of position and think that will work. Both Robertson, Liverpool and Tierney, Celtic had mares. A good number of these players ply their trade in England but to play like our style with 3 CBs and 1 is a full back then its a disaster. Send McLeish down to the Lane. Wilder will tell him how to play this system. Sad to say but our Scots are well out of it at the moment.

Has Fleck a bit of “history” with McLeish?
Never mind.......If Fleck keeps putting in the 8/10s and we stay at top of the Champs............. Big Eck will look a Big Cunt.

I’ve been listening to those two dinosaurs this week whilst driving to work. Their paddy this morning about their result last night was glorious.

The other day they were slagging England off for calling up Jadon Sancho. Imagine Scotland producing a player with as much potential as Sancho. Me neither.

Fleck had a run in with Ally Mcoist at Rangers.

Judging by social media a fair amount of Scots much prefer players being selected from the SPL than in England. A lot are very touchy when you point out how poor their league is.

It’s not just the first team in Scotland.

Callum Semple should have represented Scotland from Under 16s and above. Certainly before his injury.

He was head and shoulders above other players who got call ups. Sadly because he played Down South other players who played for Scottish Academies got picked.

Looking at Roys loan updates the Scottish U21s are all over him now because he is playing in Scotland..... what a load of bollocks.

The players that Scotland refuse to pick at the moment is a joke. Fleck would walk into that team as would Coutts .......
