Scoring in front of the Kop.

Just 1 league goal at the kop end so far. I always thought it an advantage kicking towards our end but the stats so far point the other way. Be interesting to see the stats from last season as to which end we scored the most goals.

All three looked majestic from the BLUT. Particularly Lunny's first. One of the best almost end to end goals I have ever had the fortune to witness at the Lane. What a ball from Enda. What a team.

In the 1970-71 promotion season and the 1971-72 season (8 wins and 2 draws in first 10 games), we scored more goals at the Lane end than at the Kop end

The players wives sit in the corner near us .they nearly always head towards that corner ,its too far if they score at the Kop end where McBurnie scored because its closer to Swansea.

We seem to have scored far more at the BL end under Wilder.

No idea if this is true or not, but one possible explanation is that we choose to shoot towards the Kop in the second half, and based on the last 3 years we are often already winning by that point - hence less need to go for it?
