Just 1 league goal at the kop end so far. I always thought it an advantage kicking towards our end but the stats so far point the other way. Be interesting to see the stats from last season as to which end we scored the most goals.

I dont care as long as we put the ball in the back of the net!!

I have to say that over the years it always felt like we scored more often, and better goals at the BL end. Probably bollocks though, I am sure overall it is about even.

In the 1970-71 promotion season and the 1971-72 season (8 wins and 2 draws in first 10 games), we scored more goals at the Lane end than at the Kop end

Is it just me or have Lundstram's three goals this season all been pretty much identical?

Yep, the goal against Palace and the first yesterday in particular. The second was a slight variation as he was closer in and slid, but they've all been very similar.

He likes that bottom right part of the net at the Bramall Lane end for certain. I’m sure he put one there last season.

We seem to have scored far more at the BL end under Wilder.

Half the time when kicking towards the Kop we're barely even trying to score.

It was my first thought when I saw him lining up to inevitably score the first. Then it happened again!

Like Salah for Liverpool last year. He just scored the same goal about 40 times. Let's hope Lundstram is modelling his striking style to match

It will even itself out with the winners against Man City,Spurs & West Ham coming at the kop end.

Where this once may have seemed unrealistic and caused amusement, the way we've adapted and continued to excel should let us know that not only will we be prepared but we'll also be able to compete. From the foot of Division One to sixth in the Premier Division in a little under three and a half seasons is spectacular by any measure, but the managerial talent that is Chris Wilder and Alan Knill has been the sole reason for our success.

As far as I can tell there's not a Blade who isn't astonished, let alone impressed, at what's happened in this time. Probably the most concentrated period of upward mobility any of us can recall, and given the drive, ambition, and sheer desire to succeed that our manager possesses, it would take a fool to suggest that this newly instilled ambition shows any sign of ending soon. Not only are we on a roll, we are tailor made for the Prem, and as long as we keep this squad together, make sure we retain the services of Wilder and Knill, and ensure that whatever happens at Boardroom level doesn't upset what happens with the first team, then we're in fantastic shape for the immediate future.....if the most worrying question remains, "Why isn't Rav on the bench?" then we're in better than good shape UTMB!

In 1990-91 we scored 23 league goals at home. Only 3 were scored at the Bramall Lane end: David Barnes’ goal in the 2-1 defeat to Wimbledon and both of Tony Agana’s goals in the 2-1 last day win over Norwich. The other 20 were all scored at the Kop end.

Can't forget a certain Mr Deane scoring at Lane end v the rusty shite...then Dane Whitehouse at the kop in 2nd half......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh if only Bisto did magic blades moments.....

1970-71

35 at Lane End

14 at Kop end (first one was Colquhoun's opener against Wendy on 3/10/70)

I have a season ticket on the Kop almost directly behind the goal
however for the Leicester match I changed my seat into the BLUT behind that goal.

I was saying yesterday at half time I’ve not seen us score a single goal at the Kop end.
Was hoping we’d break my duck on Saturday but we still couldn’t manage to score Kicking towards the Kop.

You've got them the wrong way round, Dane opened the scoring near the end of the first half at the kop end.

Dohhhhhhhhh ya right.....i will humbly do seven hail moretti's and three peroni's as penance

David Holdsworth's equaliser in the FA Cup quarter final vs Coventry late 90s was the craziest kop celebration I can remember. It was mayhem.
