My lad used to organise a charity five a side. United donated a shirt and other bits from the club shop. Wednesday sent a letter giving admission for two on the kop. He made about twenty photocopies and sold them for a tenner each.

I hope it was purely a money making racket and he didn't go to the home of pork himself?

As a child once remember being bundled behind two adult adults in the turnstiles to be in for free. Hard to explain but you could sort of squeeze in behind them if they stood shoulder to shoulder. Presumably it was one of the reasons they changed the turnstiles. It was my friends dad, he then left us in a pub car park for 2 hours to make our own fun before buying us a chips between us for the journey home. #80sparenting
