Saturday's atmosphere.

We have a different view of toxic, foxy, if you think what we've witnessed this season is going to be anywhere near the venom some people are willing to go to if it all goes pear shaped and our playoff hopes are dashed in the next few weeks, I predict you will then see the real toxic atmosphere. I've spoke to Blades that never say a bad word about them and even they're disgusted at not bringing any good additions in, it's ludicrous when we still have a good chance of going up.

Probably depends fairly heavily on where you sit at the Lane too as to your perception of toxicity, but there's been very little time I haven't felt like it's on a knife edge waiting for the first even perceived mistake.

Looking at the game from a Footballing point of view Adkins is going to be stuck between a rock and hard place here, probably the best chance of getting owt out of this game would be to set up as we did against Coventry and Man U. and try and frustrate them into a nil nil or snatch goal late on.

But such a defensive set up at home at the end this week of all weeks is likely to go down like a lead ballon with much of the support especially if it fails to work.

However if we go out and try to attack them I reckon they will cut through our midfield at will.

I don't envy Adkins this week.

To be honest on the Kop I found it more Toxic last season than this, this year has so far been a dull acceptance punctuated by moments of gallows humour. Could be different Saturday of course.

Unfortunatley that mistake has usually been within the first 5 minutes

Where do you sit?

The board are a f***ing disgrace, as have been consecutive boards over at least the past 50 years. They are quite happy to see the club consistently punch well below their weight, while regularly selling off the best players without replacing them adequately then pocketing the difference.

We have 1st rate fans, the best in the country, unfortunately we are led by a 4th rate, 4th division style board. They deserve nothing less than being hounded out of the Lane.

I don't envy Adkins full stop.

GCB drowned out by sack the board. That would be a spectacle and would surely help drive the message home.

Does Sinclair have a cd to prompt the fans to start singing Sack the Board?

Yeah I hear it was terrible in there that week Zain left one direction

:)

I'm tempted to ask everyone on my block if they know one member, past or present of One Direction... I'd hazard a guess that the count won't come close to needing more than one hand...

Where do you and the other Beliebers sit? :)

I sit in the directors box holding Kev's hand and telling him he's really special and not to listen to them.

Saturday is a Nailed-on backs to the wall Blades win.
It's what we do.

You're probably right! I have to say that I feel fans would be entitled to protest due to the ambiguous/misleading statements coming out of the club. The refusal to accept any accountability or present a coherent brighter picture of the club's future also won't wash with many.

Are your heamerodes playing up again? Corporate tart!!

We've lost only one of our nine league games since Shrewsbury and accumulated 16 points in the process.

It's not like David Weir's the manager and we're heading for relegation. We're actually challenging for the Play Offs, and have put in some decent performances of late. I'd hate to see how the fans would react if we actually were in the relegation zone.

16 points from 27 isn't playoff form unfortunately
