My lad (19 now) has never forgotten the joy of attending mid weeknight matches in Sheffield and the contentment on the drive home. As a nipper being allowed a trip to Sheffield on a school night, going from excitement and giddiness to fatigue and falling asleep, safely in the passenger seat as the lights flash by on the motorway on the way home.
His best game was the Nottm Forest semi win at the Lane - you cannot underestimate the bond formed from such experiences.

Then he has been to two POF and you should have heard the language from him directed at Mike Dean at the last one. Of course his mum blamed me.
