and seeing our team in 8th, way above the likes of Leeds, QPR, Pigs , Forest and still in with a chance of making the play-offs makes me so proud of the Blades this afternoon.
It's looking less likely now, but we still might make it, of that there's no doubt, but whatever happens, thank you Chris and the team for a fantastic season.
We've had wobbles for sure, but CW deserves all the accolades he will get for doing such a remarkable job in his first season managing in this league.
UTB always and forever.

Needed to win today. Losing Stears made a difference.

It shows the standard of the league if that Millwall side are in the playoffs. Massively poor season from lots of clubs, probably can't hope for a repeat next season.

Overall, great season. but we're currently incapable of a complete performance. Thought we just about shaded today but can't whinge at a draw. Good luck to Millwall.

Normally I'd be in the boozer for the next six hours. Instead I'm in Office Outlet shopping for stationary. That's how deflated I am.

We're just a bit lacking to make the play-offs. Not good enough going forward for a side with a defence which isn't good enough at keeping the opposition out.

Been a decent season though, better than expected.

It wasn't over after Barnsley [when many seemed to have given up] and it ain't over now.
Are we good enough? perhaps not as we seem to lack the ruthlessness required but it's still an open race due to others being as inconsistent.

Let's just beat Brum and take it from there.

Normally I have at least 37 pints after a game but tonight I'm just going to have 12 after that
I hardly ever drink. In fact i can barely remember the last time, but it might have been last night when I started with 4 pints of Guinness during power hour after work., And ended with a bottle of red.

But I think I should probably drink today for a change. Off to the Hatters to get leathered.

I'm a little disappointed that we conceded so soon after scoring but overall it's been a great season and I can't believe we've still got a slim chance of the playoffs!!!.
3 seasons ago we'd just undergone a whole season of Adkins style football. Thanks wilder/knill giving us a club to be proud of again. I M H O. Onwards and upwards for the blades. UTB

Millwall still have Fulham, Middlesboro and Villa to play albeit two of them at home.
Derby have Middlesboro, Cardiff, Villa and Barnsley. Although they have a game in hand.
Middlesboro have the above plus Ipswich away.
Bristol have Hull, Forest and us.
We have Birmingham and Bristol away and Preston at home.
As it stands 4 points separate those 5 teams. There will be twists and turns.

edit on 80 mins both Bristol and Derby are losing. And Preston are in the mix, as I say, twists and turns...

Our remaining games are tough as are all of them over the course of a season, Birmingham City are a different team now since Garry Monk took over so I'm not as confident as most about winning it next Saturday plus we couldn't beat them at home either and they're a much better team now as I've already mentioned.

From view from Millwall:

“Chris Wilder has always been my favourite opposing manager. So honest. Take note, Warnock.”

Could quite easily be 4 or 5 teams on the same number of points going into the last game. If we get 4 point from our next 2 games it could be very interesting.
