A quality last 10 mins , looks a great player in there

Must now take Norwoods position. He made more forward passes/runs in 20 mins than Norwood did in 70. Norwood was garbage tonight, even with free kicks and corners.

If he does start there then we need another RCM though as I've said for weeks but no one agreed with me. We can't just go with Lunny there. I still think Berge will start on the right side but Norwood was probably taken off because he looked worse than Lunny. MAybe Ampadu will play in the middle and if so we are ok for numbers but I think he's more suited to the central back three more.

The lad is class the way he carries a ball the eye he has for a pass on the floor if he improves his long range passing and becomes more combative he could do it all at the highest level

You mean someone like this guy?

Love the fact that he didn't always automatically look to play it out wide but turned inside and looked more central on couple occasions. Much better crosser of the ball than Lunny too.

Berge needs to play in the centre. We’ve seen enough of him there to suggest that this is his best position.

Norwood is too immobile. Offers very little offensively and defensively these days

Berge for Lunny. Only fitness prevented that happening.

Norwood is still the conductor of the orchestra but there is an opportunity for Ampadu to get some minutes in.

We just lost to a team who will finish above us, so 3 points down on last year. What we can’t do is walk away from places like Sourhampton with no points from 6.

It's no surprise that the best ball of the night came from Berge's right peg. If he stays fit people will be talking about him for many years to come.It feels like a dream to have him playing for us. Norwood once again kept giving the ball away in shocking areas, and Lundstram looked like he was carrying a caravan and couldn't be assed to get back throughout the game. Fleck at least got stuck in first half, and grew in influence on the ball in the second. Oh, and get working on corners and free kicks every day. Garbage, especially for a team that doesn't lack height..

And I don’t think one of his corners or free kicks got past 1st man or straight to keeper.

Precisely. I wasn’t going to mention it as I didn’t want to come across as too negative, but If Norwood can’t even get his dead balls past the first man, then it’s pointless him being on the pitch in my humble opinion.

Difficult one Bash is always solid but id getting on, but do we allow a loanee to develop there or hold off and get out own player?

This is the EPL, we all love Bash but maybe time to move on for a technically superior player.

Bash wasn't too good tonight, mistimed a lot of tackles and was cuaght out of postion too often.

Billy/Bash/Norwood/Stevens/Baldock etc. No time for sentiment at this level.

Buendia or Benerhama would add the quality I think we need to create chances that are not just crosses into the box.

Berge in Norwood's role allowing one of these freedom to play a more attacking role.

If we had £15-20 million spare?

When football returned in july he was poor too

So was the rest of the team.

And they got rid of him in summer 2018. So how are Fulham and Brighton relevant?

He's been fantastic for us for 85%+ of his time here and is never as awful as some make out anyway.

Didn't have a good game today. Moving on.

Critical Observation Is not negative whatever some on here would say. Home truths, Wolves were not great but they did us with two quick ones then relied on us being ineffective all over the pitch in the first half with Norwood, fleck and lunny scoring about 1/10 between them.

Wolves worked it out that if they left a man up wide when we attacked and used him for the out ball our CB’s were caught upfield
