Sander Berge

A very tidy performance from Sander. Looked stronger, quicker & more determined.

On the ball, he was a lot more positive, mixed it up between safe & progressive. His passing is actually very good, he is able to weigh them very nicely & puts nice spin on the ball when he needs to.

After McBurnie (our other new young signing that has been getting pelters on here), he was our best player.

Berge and McBurnie a lot better today

Bash’s missed header ...... meh

Thought we’d go on to win that and then fell to the sucker punch ffs

All round better, but still not firing on all cylinders imo

I think Berge is a confidence player. Much better today, I feel he just needs to do something brilliant, an assist or a goal and he'll be away. Doesn't strike me as a bertie big bollocks who'll come into a new club and boss it straight away, he seems a bit more of a quite character but seen enough today to hope he'll come good for us.

Looked like he had a rocket up his arse. Much better. Same again midweek Sander!

He did alright in this considering the ref made the match near impossible to gain any momentum in. One thing for certain though football without a crowd is hard viewing, Mcgoldrick's late goal and near silence in the stadium, so sad to see.

Motm yet again. Proper footballer. This intense period will help him in the long run. Stevens, Baldock and Fleck were really poor today.

Berge was the best midfielder on the pitch today. Even for 45 mins, bossed it in possession, bullied them off the ball. Showed excellent strength to push two away whilst keeping possession. Looks to be settling in nicely now. All those doubting him and mcburnie, give your heads a wobble best player on the pitch. Mcburnie not far off.

Much better today played well when he came on..

one note of caution.. it was up against a side that gave him absolutely hours and miles of space on the ball.

His attitude was spot on today too.

He was leading us and taking risks by closing Arsenal down at the top of the field. He covers ground over long distances quite quickly, it's in tight spaces where he looks a little immobile - this is what he needs to work on in pre-season, but it also suggests he needs to be playing deep with space in front of him.

There is definitely a very good player in there that we can work with. And lads, he's 21.

It's been so disappointing to see our fans writing him off this early into his career.

Actually used his physicality today too, much better. Really hope he kicks on, should take a lot of confidence from today. Understandably been criticised, but have to praise him when he’s done well.

Knew when he came on he was up for it, much better mood on the bench. He had that look, like he'd metaphorically pulled his shorts up, rolled up his sleeves and in his soft spoken Norwegian said "Reyt, let's fucking av it".

Hope it continues.

better.............still could do more.

At least a few times he put in the effort and conviction that is needed at this level.

UTB

Some good signs at last.

Quite a relief.

Comfortable with the ball and used his frame to his advantage, for the first time since signing.
