Ask me about Updog...
Alan has never played against us. Cant think why he dislikes us,
Ipswich Town "fan" isn't he?
He took a dislike to us when we beat them in the PO in 97.

For fat to long SUFC have been used by “big clubs” to do a final test on players they think might not make it eg Landel, Woodburn, Coffie, Wilson et al. I’m sure there’s more but move over the might RAWW are at the top table babies!I thought Ebanks-Landell was out of our league and probably too good for us.
Last season I noticed he was playing at MK Dons and this season he’s playing for Shrewsbury......incredible how we’ve progressed In record time.
Always makes me feel sad for any Blades who died 4 years ago as they will have never known what was around the corner regards our club.
Chris Wilder is a miracle worker and will never be forgotten.
De Bruyne, Courtois, Ndidi, Berge. Your club is something else for developing young talent. I’m planning on going to a Genk game next season.Berge definitely fits in that picture. He'll always put the team first and plays in function of the greater good. He's only 21 but already very mature.
I hope I'll be able to visit Sheffield one day to see him play again. Sheffield now has an extra fan in Belgium, I'll definitely follow his progress.
Tendinitis, I’ve had it, its vile.Did you know Keith Lemon pinched the wrist bandage idea from our Jostein Flo.
Did anyone know what injury Flo had? Im sure he wore that bandage for a full season.
His is the only feckin name a dyslexic like me can even start to get to grips with, I’ve been up all night tryin to figure out who the feck we signed.....it is not Burger. There is no r at the end, regardless of how subtly pronounced that r is.
berg-ay is a pronounciation that will be an anglolification of his name that everyone is fine with.
G is hard, ending E is pronounced, R at the end is not present.
for a correct Norwegian pronounciation the first E is like the A in Bad. The ending E is an "eh" sound - but noone from Norway really cares. Bergay is fine. just no soft g . or for a more correct version. Like the city of Bergen without the N at the end

I can only imagine what winning the league must have felt like.Let me know if you do! I'm a season ticket holder, so I'd be happy to show you some Genk hospitality!

Genkfan here to see how you guys will treat this gem of a player.
I think Sander will be an incredible addition to your squad. On and off the field he's a great player with the best personality.
On the field he can both play DM and box-to-box. I'm not sure which position suits him best because he did both flawless. He's not the "passing a player with some skillmove" kinda guy, but he's so strong with the ball that opponents just can't get it off of him. He loves driving up the field through the middle with the ball on his feet. He makes it looks so easy to recover balls too because of his strong body and great positioning skills.
Our CL campaign was a disaster but Berge was one of the few light points because he clearly was one of the few of Genk ready for this level of football.
Off the field he's a great person. Always down to earth but not afraid to say what went wrong without the unnecessary excuses we always hear in interviews. On paper he wasn't our team captain, but in practice he definitely was.
He was one of the keyplayers for our success of becoming champions last year. You'll see soon he won't have troubles adapting to the level of the PL. He's really that good. Enjoy it, he's really something.
And btw, I see you guys are looking for a song. One that we sang in Genk was "Sander Berge, he scores with his d*ck". Because yeah, he once did.And he loved that (I remember him laughing to it while warming up during the few games he was a reserve), so it would be funny if he'd hear that in Sheffield too.

I think I am going to become a Genk fan. That was crazy. Finally harvesting of building. We had other talents like Leon Bailey or Milinkovic-Savic for example, but they didn't stay long enough to get results. Last year was the end of a cycle but with the best outcome possible.
At this point we don't have any talents in that category. Maybe Lucumi, a central defender, but he fell through during the CL, so he still has a lot to learn in Genk.![]()
Half of this board will be suffering from it now, after this window.Tendinitis, I’ve had it, its vile.
Already in the starting line up???
An ok debut to be fair to the lad considering he was kinda thrown in at the deep end. Some absolutely lovely touches to get away from a man but also caught in possession once or twice - once he's up to speed he'll be a monster.
he is feckin MASSIVEHe's a right old unit n'all, int he?
I've not played Championship Manager since my uni days 1996-2000 but I remember from time to time you'd come across a player who's stated positions were something like LB/CB/RB/LW/CM/RM/ST and all his attributes were in the 90s.
I think we've just signed that player.
And I'm sorry, I think I've just come again.
She sounds great! When my eight year old granddaughter (who lives in Prague, where slivovitz, or plum brandy, is a popular drink) was told we'd signed Berge, Retsos and Zivkovic, she replied "we've bought burger, red sauce and slivovitz?"
She sounds great!
