I’m actually shocked we were even seriously linked in the first place never mind actually pulled it off.

the kid is tipped everywhere in world football circles (apart from s6) to become an absolute baller. He comes across as a very nice, humble and down to earth lad. Barca played 75 million euros for Frenkie De Jong and Burge looked every bit as talented when Liverpool played Genk.

cannot believe it. What a statement of intent from the club. What backing from the owner and amazing hard work by wilder and his team to get it over the line.
