Not sure if this has been shared in the 100+ pages, but a decent report on him from last summer gives a bit more on what we can expect from him.

Interestingly the author looks at where he could fit in a Spurs lineup (back when Pochettino was still manager): “He offers something different from Winks and I could see the two of them being rotated depending on the opponent and stage of the game. For example, Winks against teams you can ping the ball about more and expect to dominate the ball. And Berge against bigger sides where you need some more defensive cover and physicality.”

Is he actually competition for Norwood rather than Lundstram? It’s easy to pick the latter because of his form, but thinking about the leaked photo from the PA-CW meeting, and reading more about the type of player he is, he seems more suited to do Norwood’s position – albeit doing it differently to Norwood.

I think the speculation about where he might play for us is more down to his attributes, rather than the physical position he's occupied on the pitch before.

For example, he's being touted as a "DM" - but what does that mean? Deep playmaker? Midfield destroyer? Anchorman?

I think if you look at his attributes, you see someone with a good first touch, good passing range, the ability to carry the ball, physical strength and a goal threat. Assuming he can keep all that up in the PL, he could manage both positions.

I will just leave this here!

They've never heard of him? I can understand not knowing much about him but in the football world he's quite a well known name I regards to young prospects ffs

I hate them lot, stop talking about us and go back to shagging your barry bannan themed fleshlights

The Brighton forum.....they and us were the 2 teams that seriously wanted him last Summer.
He turned us both down...stating he wanted a higher ranked club because he doesn’t want to be involved in a relegation battle.
Common sense I suppose as both SU and Brighton were favourites for relegation before the season started.

So they are quite bitter that a player coveted by Potter and tracked for a year has come to us.

Maupays best mate on the other thread will be well pissed off then. 😂 👍
