Suppose the only saving grace is that every time Wilder has really spent cash in Mousett, Robinson and Mcburnie they haven’t really been a great success

Wilders strength is getting bargains and turning them into really good solid players

Fair point, however just been watching SSN and all the pundits are saying what a quality player this lad is and how they can’t believe pigs have got him. flippingannoying when we are scraping around for loans. Would love it to go t1ts up for the pigs in the near future.

Just got out of my yearly review to 10 new pages, Ton up, Sander all but confirmed and I even get to keep my job what a fucking time to be alive

Not sure if this has been shared in the 100+ pages, but a decent report on him from last summer gives a bit more on what we can expect from him.

Interestingly the author looks at where he could fit in a Spurs lineup (back when Pochettino was still manager): “He offers something different from Winks and I could see the two of them being rotated depending on the opponent and stage of the game. For example, Winks against teams you can ping the ball about more and expect to dominate the ball. And Berge against bigger sides where you need some more defensive cover and physicality.”

Is he actually competition for Norwood rather than Lundstram? It’s easy to pick the latter because of his form, but thinking about the leaked photo from the PA-CW meeting, and reading more about the type of player he is, he seems more suited to do Norwood’s position – albeit doing it differently to Norwood.

Any chance of something a bit left field? Berge in the Norwood role, Norwood stepping in for Lunny?

Just confirmed on Sky hes in Sheffield hoping to finalise today.

If he doesn't finalise today I'm booing him when they call his name over the tannoy. What's he messing about at? He's tall as well, another reason to hate him.

I’d say Berge could play the Lunny role but he’ll be deeper protecting the defence....so this enables Fleck to get forward more.

SSN update: Booooooooooo Wilder, gerrit announced

WILDER TIGHT-LIPPED ON BERGE
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder remained tight-lipped on the imminent arrival of Genk midfielder Sander Berge after they were pictured together in Sheffield on Thursday morning.

For me, costing £27m he should integrate straight into the team, maintain a 100% passing rate all season and single handedly drive us to a Champions League spot or he will just be a failed signing like McBurnie.

We as fans, should get on his back as soon as possible and demand perfection.

😂
Some of those longer balls would be perfect down the channel for Leon.

He also puts in a great cross, so it could be worth finding out what James Hanson is up to these days.......
Peter Kay just shat himself 😀.

This is typical of some of the comments being made about us on other forums...this is just 3 posts from the Brighton forum posted today.

****s sake. Can't believe how far Sheff U have jumped ahead of us in the space of half a season in this division. Berge is a ridiculously good signing for them.

Very jealous of this signing, not gonna lie. Sheffield United have recruited well and under Wilder will only go from strength to strength in the future

Bigger club Sheff UTd and prob paying more

You can see the Railway in the background.

Not sure if this will work - but here's the Google street map view:

but looking at the picture surely you photographer would have to be the other side of the to get the railway in. this looks like he has his back to the railway & this is the view that it should have. this is the issue now of fake news you cant believe anything you read on the internet now. its like year around april fools day

yes Ive just realised I really have to cut back on the amount of detective shows I watched, as they aren't good for me 😄
