Is this the modern day Juanpi? I.e the never ending transfer of an exotic sounding foreign player that never ends up going through.

Let’s be honest here.

If this lad arrived it would be a huge shift away from Wilders usual type of signings for the club.
1. Foreign....though Scandinavian players tend to fare quite well as the UK is pretty tropical compared to their homeland so can deal with the cold Tuesday nights in February and often already speak English and followers of English football.
2. Very well known and sought after by many clubs who we believe to have bigger spending power than us
3. Expensive!! And likely to be highest paid at the club
4. Already a big name pkayer

One thing is if this happens it proves Kevin Mcabe held us back and is the Prince tapping into the Kings money like he said he would of we were in the Premier a few years ago.

Or that we're now a PL club earning 100m+ per year so can afford to up our budgets accordingly.
McCabe didn't want to do the Mousset and McBurnie deals. The Prince paid for them himself.

100%. I've said it for years.

All will be revealed when you flick to the sponsors page in the programme, (£3.50) and Sanders kit is sponsored by a "Mr B Laden"....

BERGE TELLS GENK HE WANTS OUT

Norwegian international midfielder Sander Berge has told Genk he wishes to leave the club before Friday’s transfer deadline, with Sheffield United favourites to sign him.

The 21-year old and his agent Morten Wivestad met with senior officials from Genk late last night to convince them to let Berge leave - with a move to the Premier League his most likely destination.

Negotiations between Genk and United on a potential £20m transfer are understood to be continuing.

But with Friday’s deadline looming it's thought a breakthrough is likely in the next 48 hours.
