Incoming? Sam Winnall

Don't know how reliable the Transfer Mill is, but it says this morning that we are after the Scunny lad. I don't know anything about him so has anyone got any info on him?

I know he's scored plenty for them this season, pretty sure he only joined them this summer from Wolves. Can't say I've seen anything of him to say what he's like though.

He had a spell on loan at Burton. It's a safe bet Nigel and Simon know all about him. They don't miss many from that neck of the woods.

Got to hand it to Scunny, the list of decent strikers with good scoring records they've had over the last few years just keeps going on.

Keogh, Sharp, Beckford, Hooper, Paterson have all passed through with distinction.

Was talking to a Scunny fan in the pub at the beginning of the season who was waxing lyrical about Winnall saying he thought he looked a better prospect than Sharp when he first signed for them. His record this season is good so may be worth taking a punt. I believe he is only signed a 1 year contract in the summer so should be an attainable target.

I follow Agent_Jim on Twitter. He is pretty a pretty good ITK. He has a good ratio of telling his followers transfers before their confirmed by their clubs or SSN.

I was told last night that we are in for Sam Winnall, the striker at Scunthorpe.. Random from a neutral to be honest, however there are reports this morning that Scunthorpe are considering bids from 2 unnamed clubs.

I think there was a similar rumour in January, not sure if it was Winnall?
