Came on as a late sub against Arsenal yesterday but with Burnley apparently wanting a new striker he could be surplus to requirements.

Could we look at a loan until the end of the season? Good target man who can also finish. Wasn’t bad for us on loan a few years ago in the relegation season.

Very good player, liked him when he was here and has improved a lot since. Don't think he's a realistic possibility though.

If they’re looking to sell outright then you’d think that rules us out.

Wilder said the other day that of the 3 he’s targeted, two are quite well advanced (Dowell & 1 other??), while one would be a waiting game. Maybe we’re in for Vokes on loan if they cant sell him?

Liked him first time, outstanding hold up play. He wasn't too much of a goal threat though.The type of player a natural goalscorer would love to play next to.

He’d be excellent, and we’ve got near to no chance of getting him. I also don’t think they’ll be selling him at any rate, doubly so now that Nixon has suggested he’s going.

We couldn't afford to keep Vokes last time, I remember him giving the Leeds defence a hard time in our 2-0 win a few years ago, but can't remember much more from him
