In response to all these saying we wouldn't be able to sign as Wigan won't sell ... we're a division above, a good chance of promotion to the Prem (that's apparently where all modern day footballers want to play), playing in front of 25-30k each week at Bramall Lane, which has to be more appealing than playing at a deserted JJB stadium or whatever they call it these days, and no doubt we should be able to offer more on the wages front. If the player wants the deal, then it'll happen, that's what all the club apologists tell us when McCabe sells off the latest bit of the family silver ... if Sheffield United can't cherry pick from a club division below and no disrespect to them from a club like Wigan then it's one poor do we've got at the Lane.

SUFC please start punching your weight as a club, there's currently a great opportunity of promotion to the Prem here.

Club apologists? Sensible people who don’t get off on deriding our own and cap-doffing everything else in sight? Where do I sign?

A couple of poor results and the agenda is re-circulated. Pathetic.
 
Constructive criticism is healthy and helps drive the club forward (or for any organisation for that matter), clapping loudly because it's the club hierarchy "who can do no wrong" isn't, especially when we've seen what has happened in the past with lack of ambition.

I think most Blades would agree we need a decent replacement for Coutts in January, now is the time for McCabe to step up to the mark (no shit about faulty fax machines this time, or any other excuse). If Wilder sees Morsy as a decent/ or the replacement for Coutts, there should be no reason why SUFC can't cherry pick from Wigan.

Ah, the fax machine. How I’ve missed that one.

You are aware I hope, just how much McCabe has ‘stepped up to the mark’ for our club? If not, make an appointment to see him sometime and he’ll tell you.

Will you be throwing in a few quid? Or is ‘ambition’ all about spending other people’s money? People who have stepped up to the mark for the benefit of our club many times and at vast expense. People who have also made grievous mistakes, but never deliberately and never dishonestly (unlike former times not all that long ago)

Yes, I’ll gladly clap that loud and long. Then again, I try to support rather than denigrate my own club.
