Not doing too well at Oldham if their fans are to be believed. Most want to send him back unfortunately.

Joking aside, had the other guy not jumped that would have almost certainly broken his leg. Plenty on here were ready to lynch Marvin Sordell last season for a tackled which, although nasty, seemed much less calculated than that one.

Sordell's was a coward's tackle. Graham's was mistimed - but he fully deserved his yellow card.

Probably connected to their overall performances; Oldham fans probably expect their team to be doing better than midtable in League Two.

Straight red for me. He flies in off the ground, out of control, and if there was any intention of getting the ball, he also fully intended to get the man. If anyone had done that to one of our players and received only a yellow there would be uproar on here.

My view from my playing days as a defender would be " Geeor Ref, ball were theer to be wun". As a forward, "Watch tha back all match dirty twat, cos achilles snap reight easy". My present concern as a concerned Blade is not only was it mistimed but also completely unnecessary and taking him out of position. Get it kin sorted Yoonited.

So the bloke is going on a mazy run away from goal posing no danger and Graham charges out of position and chops him down giving them a free kick in a very dangerous position. Wilder would have been tearing his hair out if he'd done that for us !!

Yes, it was an ill-judged, mistimed tackle. That’s why we send players out on loan; so they learn from their mistakes before being tested at championship level.

Would hope Bomber would much prefer to be in the spotlight for his performances rather than a tackle like that.

I agree though that loans are for learning.

Gone to Notts County on loan.

Now call me naive but a move to a national league side is probably even a step down from the A-League

Suppose he’s another in the bracket of youth - ‘we’ve surpassed him’ - but it’s sad to see. I thought he had some serious potential.
