Another defender gone, who do we actually have as backup options now to the usual trio we use?

Excellent move.

If he can play regularly in L2 at centre half at his age I suggest we've got a good prospect on our hands.

Peter Clarke and Anthony Gerrard are both there too - a couple of great ones for him to learn from.

Thought he might get a look in this season in the cup, because I think I saw him on the training videos with a squad number, but it's great that he's off to a league team. Should be good for him, and us hopefully.

Let me be the 'second' to say.......

Great move for united and for the lad.

We clearly think he's getting to that level where u23s might not develop him as much as a the 'Muck and Nettles' of League 2

If you'd had the magnanimity to leave off the "let me be the first to say" then you might've been the first to say it.

No idea what you are on about.........Check my original post........;)

Ha ha. Thats very true though.....I also had to find a suitable text generator!

Fairly local, good pros at CB there and a club where he really will get to show his metal. Great move for him and good luck.

Spoke to an Oldham fan at work earlier this week and he says the Oldham fans were raving about him after his debut in the preseason friendly. Really dominant in the air and comfortable on the ball.

Good news - think the could be a vital move. He’s dead young let’s see how he gets on with some men’s football for a season .

Well in Sam! This was after 7 minutes of play

Reminds me of Morgs, only taller and darker. Think we've already got Bash's replacement lined up in Big Sam.
