hearing rumours on FB that we are trying to get this lad in from Southampton. 21 yrs old 6'4" tall striker, spent last year on loan at Blackburn I think.

This would be a good signing but aren't there a number of Championship clubs chasing him and some with more disposable income than us

Hope there's somat in it but can't see it
 
I'm sure we have asked about him but everyone else in the Championship will have too.

From his point of view we'd be a great move for him, maybe even the best. But no doubt it will come down to money, in some way.

Feel like this would be a terrific signing.

But as Ricky points out suspect we wouldn't be the only championship club looking - might be difficult to pull off.

Still if you don't ask you don't get.
 
No doubt he'd add something. Personally I hope we'll add some pace though if we get another in up front.
 
When wouldn't be a good signing at all. He would be a fantastic signing. Might cost too much though so it's a believe it when I see it one for me. Maybe a season loan would be a good compromise if possible.

Don't want to state the obvious but if this lad and Lenihan are as good as some seem to think how come Blackburn got relegated? Takes more than 2 to tango I know but given they were centre half and centre forward they cant have been that good can they ?

Have good players never been relegated?
 
Would be very impressed with this if it happens.
Was good in a very poor Blackburn side.
Would suit our play too.
 
Didn't someone on here say something like... my mate said we were gonna sign Baldock, Adolf and Gallagher (after we'd signed them to note).

It will have been picked up on here, posted on Facebook then comes back here as fact. That's how these things usually work :)
 
Rumour on BM (from respected poster and a reliable source) that a young PL striker is joining on loan next week

I refuse to believe it's Gallagher, but who else might it be?

I'm going for a young Man U player due to our academy links

Who Munure was the kid we had and sent back injured after a game or two?
