Lord I know Yorkshiremen love to grumble and predict failure, but it seems to me you have no clue what Ellis does so make up your nonsense to prove you are right. I though Yorkshiremen had more nouse than that. If games were only as easy to predict as your rumblings I'd be top of the Prediction Table.
Personally I enjoy watching the Blades, great team, well put together in a tough high-pressure league where 'take no prisoners' is often the standard. They have been consistently in the top part of the Championship in the last half dozens years/times they have been in the league; and I note we are still in it (CCC). So, hope for better things, understand it's a fine line between success and failure and there is no magic formula (except in some people's mind). I'm proud of our club's tradition and how we conduct and manage our business. None of which means that players don't mess up or coaches don't get it wrong or transfers don't go bums up. Overall we are no better or worse than the teams in the bottom half of the Premiership - we are just lacking their funds at the moment.
Be a critic if you will but if you can't also give credit then it really does not count for much.
Absolute Rubbish
You cannot be seriously saying that Bolton, Wigan, Portsmouth, Stoke, Burnley, Wolves, Birmingham City, Hull City, are generating any more cash than we are except perhaps the PL TV money. We get better crowds than those teams, pay far less in Wages and Transfer fees etc.
I agree with a lot of your comments regarding tough league, high achievers etc etc but the difference between those clubs in the lower half of the PL and SUFC is ambition - they want to be competing with the best not to be comfortable with the also rans
You guys who bleat on about top 6 CCC, Blackwell good record blah, blah, blah
In truth Robson failed we hired Blackwell because he was a cheap option and would do the things the chairman wanted and now he has reduced the squad to a skeleton relying on loan players and out of contract players to get us from match to match.
I have far morer respect for the likes of Dave Whelan, who according to the rich list is no better off than McCabe yet Wigan stay in the PL year in year out with meagre attendances.
I can't imagine any of those mention club getting rid of their best striker in the January Transfer Window in case they failed next season.
I get frustrated with the lack of ambition by the club and yet all we get is how well the club is run-don't make me laugh
