i was against us going back to a 5 at the back but with souttar gone and anel and robbo looking shaky again i think we seriously have to think about it seriki and burrows would be as good wingbacks as there is in the championship

The few times I watched him for the U21/U23's he didn't seem ready for top end league one.
As he hasn't got games there I am guessing we'll loan him to another Lge 1 team or possible Lge 2.

Only just turned 19 let's not forget. He's playing at a higher level than the likes of RND at his age

I am a Posh fan and I think you have a real player on your hands.
We were the right team for him at the wrong time. We have a totally new and inexperienced back line who are all struggling! Two centre backs in first season in EFL, the 3rd centre back is 18. Curtis competing with our own England U20 player for right back berth (and generally being preferred) our most experienced defender is the left back who has really struggled at times resulting on occasions Curtis being selected to play there.
He needs nurturing. Personally I think spending the rest of the season with you would be more beneficial than sending out on loan. He never hid and always gave his all

Cheers for that posh !

True, but we have Billy Blacker and Ryan One on the bench (and getting game time) and both only turned 18 six months ago. Sam Colechin was on the bench, last home game, and I think he is just 16?

I know that players mature at different rates, just saying.

Was thinking this earlier. Looks pretty solid on paper:

------------------- Campbell ----------------------
----- O'Hare ----------------------Rak-Sakyi -----
--------------- Hamer --- Souza ------------------
-- Burrows ------------------------------- Seriki --
--------- Robinson -- Anel -- Gilchrist -----------
--------------------- Cooper ----------------------

👍

Ndiaye was what, 21 when Slav brought him into the first team against Peterborough (I know he'd played some minutes in the the premier league a few months before that).

Seriki was still a teenager (I don't remember exactly how old he was) when we played him against Forest in the 21/22 season, and this season he's finally broken into our squad, I think he's 21 now, Brooks is the same age.

From El Accounto:
“I can't leave without one last bit of transfer gossip: This Irish lad looks like he will be different gravy. Ignore the age he will be quickly knocking at the door for the first team. No idea how we have got him over other clubs that have tracked him.“

Gone to st Johnstone. Good move for a player his age but some people were legitimately calling for him to be thrown in the side in the premier league

Drying out in the alehouse (if that’s not an oxymoron) after watching St Johnstone lose (1-2) at home to Hearts
Curtis played on right (wing back ?) in front of a back three & looked poor, albeit in a poor team (agin a slightly less poor team), withdrawn after about 70 minutes.
Looked ok going forward & slung in a couple of decent(ish) crosses & had a close range effort on target ((extremely well) saved by (geriatric) keeper (Craig Gordon).
Physically held his own but defensively run ragged by HOMFC left back (Penrice) , although not alone in that experience this season - would be worth considering if /when Burrows departs (pacy, aggressive, & a good crosser).
In Curtis’s ‘defence’ (on this showing) he’s still a bairn, playing in a bottom of the table team that ‘lump it’ , on a horrid pitch in vile conditions (ie Scottish football !?!) but seems a distance away from a 1st team berth.
Saints fans ambivalent (at best) about him, although that may have been ‘informed’ by politeness towards my Blades affiliation?

The blue & yellow seats in St Johnstone’s stadium came from Ibrox when it was redeveloped. I enjoy a trip to McDiarmid Park. They’ve been in the SPL for a long time now, I hope they can cling on this year. Perth is a cracking little city.

No wonder my seat was so uncomfortable?!
Bit of a bugger the distance from the City centre (with no watering holes en route) but yes, the centre is sound with a good few ‘proper’ (Scottish) bars that have perfected their purpose / function: decent Guinness & talking shite !
Feel compelled to vacate my current abode (unfortunately) given the ‘perfect storm’ of Frankenrangers2012 ‘fans’ (sic) singing (sic) karaoke!
