Was listening to his interview on Sky Sports yesterday about how he feels he's conquered his demons and would like a return to England. Currently in Belgium. Done OK, 6 goals in 18 and played striker and all across the midfield. Can't help but feel Wilder will have an eye on him. Seems like a typical Wilder signing and has been more successful than our last risk, Ravel.

Have any of Wilder’s ‘risk’ signings actually come good?

Ched Evans, Ravel Morrison, Jack Rodwell...

The likes of McGoldrick, Madine etc weren’t exactly in the same category of risks before they’re mentioned.

My favourite Berahino story is the latest one.

Berahino still has strong feelings towards West Brom and would like to return one day.....the same West Brom he downed tools at to get a move to Spurs.

I see where you’re coming from but I think Rodwell is a decent signing, good player who has been given a shitload of money (not his fault), nobody can say he’s not come good because he hasn’t had the chance but I wouldn’t panic if I saw him in the starting line-up,

imagine saying this 2-3 Years ago... yeah, we’ll be signing Rodwell just in case Bash gets injured

I'd say Madine could definitely be put in with them. The reason they could be judged as not come good is because they barely played. We won't know what they would have been like due to how good the first 11 have been.

Ravel was free though.
