I really don't want us to sack another manager and can appreciate what Weir is trying to do, but his complete refusal to change things or even try something different makes it almost impossible for him to keep his job.

Only using two subs and leaving it right til the end for one of them is the kind of thing managers do to run down the clock when they're winning, not hopelessly losing.

I feel sorry for him. He's joined with some good ideas and a really good ethic in mind. His signings have been exciting and potentially bargains.

Obviously I don't have a tape recording but I have been told by someone who works t the club closely to the players this is true and after the defeat against Preston it kicked off royally in the dressing room and Doyle took some of the stick
