Come on pal, we didn’t even lose. A bad draw, an embarrassing one, but a draw nonetheless. We’ve looked really good for 2 and a half games of football.

Pretty sure he’s the main reason we’ve been able to make so many quality signings. You watch any big signing this year the first thing they mention is ‘the manager’. Do people not understand that when you assembly a completely new team the team will initially have to get to know each other. I don’t think yesterday is actually all that bad, an early sting to tell the players that they need to put a shift in for 90 mins or you won’t win. Do people think we’re going to win every single game ?

He had a plan B, unfortunately it meant bringing players on with 10 minutes to go. We all saw we need a change in after the first 10 minutes of the second half, the players were not responding to his plan A, if you like. Sometimes, well many times, the input of one or two can give the team that jolt that brings a team back to life. 2-0 I guess Wilder thought the players would play their way back into the game. 2-1. He should have made a triple substitution. Souttar for Gilchrist, Rak Saki for Brooks and Peck for O'Hare. It would have given us a stronger defensive set up and give us a fresh attacking option. But same old Wilder, old dog, new tricks.

When QPR scored on 55 we needed exactly those subs on.
Every minute after 55 was agony , me fuming at Wilder for his inaction whilst waiting for us to chuck 2 or 3 points.
Wilder needs to think about what happened when he brought JRS on and kick himself for not doing it earlier.
His comment about JRS "only having 10 minutes in him" is pathetic bullshit , trying to deflect from what was obvious to most fans - he electrified us and would have changed the course of the second half.
Cooper , Souttar & JRS need to start next week.

After the first win you declared we shouldn’t get carried away and you’d judge him at the end of the season. After the second game you want him sacking because we only drew.

It’s pretty obvious your mind’s made up before the off, and you’re simply waiting to be proved right.

The thread from last season? To some extent I’ve given him a blank slate this season but old failings haven’t taken long to rear their head. Leopard and spots spring to mind!

Three games. Two wins and a draw. Imagine the meltdown on here if we'd lost them all, even though our best team is yet to start.

Remember, iwe had a mid-table finish in our first season in the Championship before CW took us up to the PL last time. Now is the tme to enjoy life in the Championship and let CW get on with the rebuild.

I don’t think people realise sometimes that we are once again victims of not doing our recruitment early . Bit harsh on Wilder but he is guilty of leaving it to late . It’s a combo of not having player options and the team not gelling yet . I won’t be as forgiving after a few more games

Was just watching Sky Sports News . Showed Brighton win at Everton. Their manager is in his thirties. Do we need to consider a younger manager with fresher ideas ?

Wilder himself acknowledged when he took the job that he needed to win the fans back. Obviously he got a free pass last season because of the car crash he inherited, but this season, with a squad that he has assembled, he has no excuses. Time for him to deliver, and quickly.

For me, the jury remains out and will do so for a couple of months yet. Being great at persuading players to sign for the club counts for nothing if he can’t then assemble them into a winning team.

He’s always been crap at game management. In the seasons that we were flying it didn’t really matter, but once we start to be up against it it becomes critical. Refusal to accept responsibility but to always look to pass it on to others is the mark of a fundamentally weak character. I hoped he might have learned from last time in that respect, but it seems not.

There’s no doubt he’s under real pressure now, far more than he was when he took the job first time, with much higher expectations. Probable new ownership intensifies that pressure. It will be interesting to see how it pans out, it’s in his hands with nobody else to blame if he falls short.

kicking into the kop second half did we have a shot on target ??

That game should have been a 3/4 - 0 win but somebody changed the game plan and we negatively tried to see it out..

some will say it's not a loss, but these games will soon start to become losses especially when the opposition don't get a player sent off..

I'm not a fan of Wilder, but I can't see him lasting when the ownership changes if this is how he manages a second half against 10 men at home...
