I've resurrected the Predictions and Survivor games, the winner of the Predictions League, will win a Sheffield United shirt of their choosing for the 2026/27 season! (delivery to UK, if outside, delivery contribution may be required
). The winner of Survivor, well we'll see, nothing promised

What is Predictions?
I'm sure this needs little introduction to most people with an interest in football/sports, on a weekly basis, each player will be presented with the list of fixtures where they will attempt to choose a correct outcome for that fixture (home win, away win or draw). If your predicted outcome comes to fruition, you get a correct prediction, the winner of the league is the player with the most correct predictions at the end of the season. I've also added some manual tie-breaker questions this season, to make it more interesting in the event of ties.
What is Survivor?
Unlike the Prediction League where you attempt to pick a winner (or indeed a draw) for each fixture, in Survivor you only pick ONE team that you think will win its match during that particular round of fixtures. Also know as "Last Man Standing", many of you may be familiar with the premise.
Sounds easy enough? Well, to make it a little more challenging, you can only pick a given team ONCE during that entire competition.
Rather than running on points and a league table, Survivor works on a three strikes basis. You get a strike each time your pick is incorrect. Once you are on three strikes, you are eliminated from the game. The winner is the last person left in the game (or multiple people if the season finishes with multiple survivors - in this instance, we'll run "tie-breakers"). Depending on how long it takes to get a winner, we may run follow up pools.

Prediction League
Frequently Asked Questions:
Predictions: What happens if the team I pick loses the game, or I've selected the draw and one team wins?
When you make an incorrect pick, you will receive no points.
Predictions: What happens if the set of fixtures close before I've made my pick?
Players that fail to make a pick before the fixtures close will receive no points for those fixtures. A reminder will be sent via the alerts system both 24 and 48 hours before the day of the games if you are in a pool, but haven't yet made your picks.
Predictions: How is the winner determined?
The predictions league is run on a points basis, each correct pick will allocate a point to the user and a leaderboard will be automatically created following each week.
Survivor: What happens if the team I pick loses the game?
When you make an incorrect pick, you will receive a Strike.
Survivor: What happens if the team I pick ends up with a draw?
A draw counts the same as a loss, in this instance, you will receive a Strike.
Survivor: What happens if the set of fixtures close before I've made my pick?
Players that fail to make a pick before the fixtures close will receive a Strike, just the same as had they picked a loser. Where you would normally see your pick, the system will display DNP (Did not play).
Survivor: What is a Strike and how does it come into play?
A strike is what you receive when you make an incorrect pick or fail to participate in a round of fixtures. At the moment, once you reach three strikes, you will be eliminated from the competition.
Survivor: What happens when I am eliminated?
You are out of the game. At this point, you can still access the "pool" and see how everyone else is doing. You'll also still be able to post comments within the game.
Survivor: How is the winner determined?
The game ends when only one person is active, that person is then crowned the winner. There can only be multiple winners if more than one person "survives" the full season.
