Sorry, I meant to ask this question 132 pages back but I forgot.

Is this Leonard chap actually that good, or has this mega feeding frenzy been caused simply because too much ground bait being chucked in?

To be fair, I personally think Leonard brings something different to what we already have in the side, and a good player as well both Defensively and Attacking.

No idea how good he is. The only info i've on him is from his agent... uhhhhhm i mean Rootshallbloke and he sounds impressed.
What I will say though is that he sounds different to what we already have. Even the new Oxford lad sounds like cover for Coutts.
Ive been screaming out for a box to box midfielder for a while. Ok I wanted a Coady or Irvine but if Wilder thinks this guy is worth all the bollocks then he sounds like just what we need.

In my opinion Lenny has the potential to become a top class Championship player. Will he achieve that potential? that depends on his ambition and drive, who he plays alongside and where. There is no doubt that he can carry on being our player of the year in FL1 and maybe the Championship but I believe he is now at that watershed point that so many 'good' players reach. He has many attributes, his ability to go box to box, strength in the tackle, deceptively fast pace, capable of lasting 90 minutes and a pretty decent shot when he can be arsed. To do all of that at a higher level than now, he needs top quality players around him, a manager who believes he can do all that stuff at a higher level and a fan base that is prepared to be a bit patient until he reaches his potential. The fact that Wilder is still hanging in there suggests that he agrees with some of my opinion. Would he walk into a Championship side immediately, maybe, but unlikely. So, if you do finally decide to pay a reasonable transfer fee (no pratting around with £500k+ thank you) and you do decide to give Len opportunities to show his worth then I don't believe you would be disappointed.

Sorry for absence of tits, cute one liners etc, but this was a bit serious for me.

We'll definitely need somebody more defensively minded who can protect the defence more and break up play whoever it is. Currently Bash is probably the only player who can play that role.

Lol, I misspelt it but just in case you're more used to sea fishing down Sarfend Roots.

It's what what anglers throw in to attract the fish and get more bites. In sea fishing terms it's a few sprats to catch mackerels or rubby dubby for sharks..or tits to attract posters in this case.
