Wonder if this thread will get near Morsy's! Its turning into the above film! It looks more promising now only because Leonard, who must be really frustrated at the minute, has finally run out of patience with Ron!
 

There's patience and there's patience but this has really gone on far too long now, infact there's a drama coming out soon on ITV called Ryan Leonards century.

It will be starring Pinchy , All the shrimpers on here and last but not least Monty, playing the lead role as Ryan Leonard.

Well done lads. Spider crab terrine with pickled iceberg hearts, de-boned lamb with vegatable and hazelnut reduction with raspberry ice cream and lavender meringue and parfait. Couple of bottles of wine, bit of Jazz and a few carrahilio and bailleys over ice for the wife. Got to 100 pages, I'm not particularly well and Lenny is unsettled. Couldn't be better. NN XX

He must be some player this lad! 101 pages for a Southend United midfielder. If he signs the person dealing with the negotiations should get a lifetime achievement award.

The thought of United even entertaining a negotiation this prolonged annoys me. Put a final offer on the table to his club and his agent, then walk away. What a circus!

Really? It's happened thousands of times down the years at clubs all over the land. The difference now is the immediacy of instant news and the insatiable desire of fans for things to happen NOW and no later.
 
He is missing pre season. O'Connell was a slow starter last year and he arrived a few weeks before the window closed I think.

Our next one of any consequence is against Cambridge, and then Brighton on 25 July. The Bishops one will probably be mostly the U21s. Cambridge is a bit tricky as its in aid of a bloke that was left wheel chair bound after a ruck at the Railway pub. 12 from Soundend got banged up for several years yesterday as a result. Feelings are running a bit high at the moment, so i dont know whether the game will happen.

wow, sounds like it should may be given a miss, or as you say maybe the u21's, all seems a bit raw if the guys only just got banged up, hopefully the other games you have lined up will all happen OK and prepare you for the season, with or without Lenny :)
