That means that we will have potentially 4 or 5 not playing, with 2 of them being captains from there former clubs. Can't see them going from captain to bench warmer

You can't have too many good players; provided of course you have the management skills to keep them all happy...

I really don't like the look of the weasel and I reckon he's got an idea about squirrel pie.

PC Badger also looks a bit dodgy and might want to take the young rabbit round the back and show him his truncheon.

Do we have an 'adults only' warning on S2?

That's One Knill giving Tufty a bit of tactical advice! I agree about "Len" Badger though. :)

Poetry in motion, what number was Leonard, because i saw several Southend players chasing shadows/trying to foul but having no joy.It was like that all 90 plus minutes in that game though
Apart from when they went level then had a decent 20 minute spell on top - naturally.

I realise you are never wrong, but there goal came very much against the run of play,i know this because i was in attendance
I know their goal came against the run of play. I also know after their goal they had a spell on top, in which Simon Moore made one of his best saves of the season. I know this because I was in attendance.

Not my recollection, but seeing as you are never wrong,i will amend my post, and say United were on top for 75 minutes, not bad for a very difficult away fixture at a team that were going very well, does that meet with your approval?

We did very well and it was our best away performance all season apart from the perfect 3-0's towards the end of the season but lets not make out we controlled the game for 90 minutes and showed them up cos it's not true.

They were in the top 5 sides I have seen this season home and away.

We did show them up on their own patch,we controlled the game for 75 minutes, scored the goal as shown above, which involved 13 passes and no Southend player able to get near the ball,it was one of the best away performances of the season, all this is of course my opinion

That's no weasel that's Knilly whispering in Tufty's ear.

Fantastic football. Any Blade who doesn't enjoy proper football like that is quite simply a NBW.

It wasn't unique either. 17 passes v Swindon.

Fuck Charles Hughes and the anti-football three-pass rule. Viva the Right Way.

Hahaha....Oxford have caved in quickly....of course we could well have been bidding several weeks for him too.

Or perhaps their chairman isn't daft enough to see what's hitting him in the face.
Lundstram wasn't going to sign a new contract, and was in the last year. So realised it would be foolish to reject money which he can use now to replace the player and strengthen his squad.

Whereas in Southend, Leonard has made it clear he wants to leave and won't sign a new contract. He will be gone be it now, January or next June.
So it's £500k plus add ons now....or £200k in January...or feck all in June. Who's the smarter Chairman?

Let's remember this post when we sell Brooks to Everton next month, for £1.5m plus add ons.

I also agree with you btw.

Page 112, gosh how we moved on from page 103 two days ago. I'm looking forward to page 120, coming to a forum near you soon.

Let me take that to page 113, not that I have anything valuable to add to this conversation, other than, let me take that to page 113.

We're you both sat next to each other, with the same view though!!??
Oh, I was also in attendance, so there!:)
