Following further discussions between Southend United, Sheffield United and Ryan Leonard this week terms have now been agreed to enable Ryan to fulfil his wish to join ‘The Blades’.

Ryan Leonard will be undergoing a medical later today and subject to agreeing personal terms Ryan will be in a position to fulfil his dream move over the next week.

Of course Mr Roots. In Wilder and Knill Len will be looked after and if there's more to come from the fella they'll get it out of him. Looking forward to finally seeing him in our midfield, especially when we get our maestro Coutts back. I'm not familiar with your lads but if Wilder's persistence with Len is anything to go by he'll shine here. From all accounts our lads are very welcoming to newcomers so no worries for Len. Enjoyed your occasional appearances, hope you guys finally get your stadium and achieve promotion in the near future.
