Tbf I’d say he would be fine with it seeing as he left home at 16, moved to another country and into digs with complete strangers looking after him in Sheffield. He is a mature boy so personally think he would have took a loan in his stride but equally mature enough to think ok that’s not on so I’ll fight for my place here. Won’t be long before he’s knocking at the door for a start regardless of our signings imo.

Probably get more loan options for him in the summer (hopefully he can get a good season long loan), same with Marsh and Hampson if they can have good loans with Fleetwood and Dunfermline respectively.

Just seems a bit of a missed opportunity. Training alongside pros is fine but there is no substitute for minutes in professional football. You can’t really dictate where players go but it would have been great to send him to Donny to play with Sharp.

100% agree on not playing on the wing, he’s a centre forward who needs to be learning his trade against centre halves, his runs, positioning etc things that don’t come natural and are learnt with experience are what he’s missing out on. Whether it’s with us or out on loan but he needs to be playing up front somewhere.

After the FA Cup tie, I could see him going to Mansfield to be fair, if we are knocked out or on a cup run, he isn't getting a game if it's competitive and needs first team players. We also have Beattie and Marsh who need game time too.

Jebbison is starting to come good at PNE and, as much as I'm not a fan of the bloke, we similarly stunted his opportunity to grow as a player (Osula's too).
