Ruthless

Time for Chris to be ruthless with some of the squad. Sharp, Didzy, Robinson, Moore, Verrips, Jagielka, Rodwell (strange signing for me as he's nowhere near the first team) and possibly Mcburnie (I might be being too harsh on him, but I'm pissed off) are all Championship level players and need moving on. You need squad players, but they must be able to come in and do a job, and I'm not sure these can at this level. There is no room for sentiment in football, and I'd rather have a squad of 21 decent players than a squad of 25 which is made up of a lot of below standard players. Rant over.

Honestly? I've been thinking the same. I could absolutely be wrong but it feels like some players are in there purely because they were instrumental in getting us there in the first place.

I love the likes of Didz, Sharp and Jags but I think we need better players. McBurnie is still hit and miss for me personally, but I'd like to see how he pairs with Burke or Brewster.

I agree, we needed to start replacing the championship group with better quality players. Arguably, we didnt have the financial clout to properly do this (Wilder mentions money in just about every interview). But, of the money he has received, there is probably a question mark over whether he has used this wisely and spent on quality or has he just used it to squad build. Time will tell I guess, once the likes of Bogle, Lowe, Brewster and The Chelsea lad have had a chance to show what they can do.

For me, it remains a mistake not to improve on creative/attacking flare (a upgrade on Didzy) whilst letting Freeman go.

I'm sure Wilder would love a squad of premiership quality players .we have to be at our best to get results ,gradually the quality is rising,unfortunately the league is unforgiving and we have a real challenge on our hands to stay up .
Dont need reminding we are short on quality
We have to stick together and fight on.It may end in relegation ! We have to make sure we're in a position to get straight back if our worst fears are realised.
