if that seriously happened i think alot of united fans would stand outide brammal lane to stop shipps leaving

Couldn't see it happening myself but stranger things have indeed happened.

Shipps is well aware of his position at United but stated that he would be happy for another striker to come in and provide competition for his place.

But maybe the chance to go back down south is too good an opportunity for him to miss.

Who knows.

Now this is a strange one. Where would this rumour have come from. He's starting nearly every game and he's scoring a few goals. WHy would he want to move??

Could it be that he's getting fed up off all the stick he gets from Warnock?? About his weight? Or could it be that he knows Warnock wants to bring in a better player than him so he's got face on and wants to move.

But if any of those reasons were true, surely he'd get into a better team than Brighton, and it's not as if they've got money to buy him????
