Following Revolution's post, I now take you to a journey to a land that time forgot - the land of Texaco Cups, Group Cups and Watney cups that is the rubbish cups of the 70's and early 80's.

As suggested, I am going to impose a ban on Rev answering until 5pm (though he can privately e-mail me with the answers before 5pm) to give everyone else a chance.

He we go:

yes, we did indeed win 4-0. It was 2/8/72 and Mackenzie, Dearden, Woodward (pen) and Hemsley scored.

It was Notts Co - we lost 4-5 on 13/8/77 - Edwards 2, Campbell and Hamilton scored for us.
