Police warning to Clarets fans over Wembley transport

POLICE in Burnley have issued travel advice to Clarets fans ahead of the play offs at Wembley on May 25th.
They are reminding anyone organising coaches or mini buses that they must inform police ahead of the game that they are planning to travel to the match.

Officers say they need the name of the party organiser, coach company and a contact number, so they can liaise with the Metropolitan Police about traffic issues and, if necessary, issue suitable instructions to the relevant transport organisers.

Erm... how's about... there is absolutely no legal requirement to inform the police of any intention to travel on her majesty's highways?
