I must say I don't like this new trend of roorin that's crept into the game, Sallah, the Real Madrid bloke and all these beaten finalists breaking down into uncontrollable floods of tears.
Cant imagine Hockey, Monty, Stiles, Butcher ect doing it, it's a mans game, some you win some you lose so get on with it.

Would you cry if you got injured in a game when there is a World Cup in 3 weeks that you may be forced to miss out on playing in?

Let’s look at it another way - it’s team game and it’s a little self centred of the player to be crying because of his own loss, when an opportunity arises for another player to do a job and win that game.

And where does it end? Substitutions?

Did Isco cry when he was replaced by top knot Bale having had chances to take the lead?

For me it was a bit much. Injuries are part of the game and you take the rough with the smooth

perhaps it bloody hurt? dislocated shoulder is really painful FWIH

I’ve dislocated mine 7 times, it aches more than hurts. Also dislocated the collar bone.

Cruciate knee ligaments fucking hurt, done those twice.

Never cried at any of them

However, a swift kick to the bollocks brings a tear to the eye

here we go again, appartantly real men don't cry as they are emotionless robots.

in the heat of the moment I'm sure a lot of things will have gone through his head beside the pain after ramos deliberately dislocated his shoulder, this was his chance to show himself at on the biggest stage taken away from him, will he miss Egypt 1st world cup for 28 years, will he ever get back i remember buffon saying before last years final, i wasn't upset after 03 final because i thought I'm 24/25 ill be back multiple times & he wasn't for another 14years

One thing it's OK to cry about is all the racism in the game today. As an example, one of England's brightest prospects is being hounded by the media for having a simple tattoo in honour of his father. His crime? Being black.

:-)

99.98% of all murders are carried out by blokes who think it's wussy to cry.
True story.

It's not quite as simple as that is it?

His 'crime' is that in the middle of a gun crime epidemic with many young (black) men shooting each other, he chose to have a tattoo of an assualt rifle.

He's explained why and that's fair enough but it is hardly the most well thought out decision, is it. England footballers are role models whether they like it or not and it goes with the £100k per week and flash cars.

A poor example to young kids and nothing to do with his skin colour.

:)

My Dad was never shot, so I don't think it would be fair for me to comment on the reason/justification for his tattoo.

But its not about him solely being black - you're talking shit there - as 11 of the 23 man England squad are black or mixed race, and non of them other than Sterling have had any negative press this morning...

bet t van achen whom Duffmeister turned inside out and jack hunt whom Brooksy made look a total dick head were crying all night....:D

Crying in full view of the public for any reason is a blatant "look at me" ploy.

Yep, it will have been at the forefront of his mind at the time about how he could leave the field in the most “look at me” way. Definitely not down to any emotion of the moment, perish the thought.

Each to their own, of course, but it's a strange tribute to a loved one, don't you think? My cousin was killed in a car crash, but if his son had a tribute tattoo of a Ford Mondeo on his leg I'd tell him to get it removed. But you are right, it isn't solely about him being black.
