I’ve heard other interviews since becoming manager where he just sounds like a typically inarticulate player, but thought he interviewed quite well here tbh. Sounded much better and switched on imo

Well I made the same argument for Huddersfield at the weekend so it'd be hypocritical not to make it in our favour this time:

I don't agree. The best team on the day is the one that scores the most goals. The aim of the game is to score more than the opposition so by definition the team that does so played better (barring a result determined by terrible refereeing decisions which wasn't the case last night). Possession doesn't mean much if you don't do anything with it, and taking chances is as much a relevant skill as anything else on the pitch (as is the 'keeper not throwing one in to his own net).

If they had someone as good as Billy Sharp, they might have won. But they don't and we do.
