Have to disagree re the criticism. He (along with virtually everyone else tbf) has been woeful this season in his performance levels and he has made a fair few basic mistakes which have contributed to daft goals being conceded. He tries I'll give him that, but up to now his performance levels haven't shown PL quality and any criticism has been thoroughly justified in my book.

That said, it sounds (I haven't seen last night's game) like he had a very good game last night so credit where its due. Well played to the lad. More of the same please and maybe he can start to change a lot of peoples opinions on him. He's made a start, that's all.

He should be fine for the Championship as a squad player, if nothing else but hopefully he can kick on next season and show that there is a decent player in there somewhere.

the thing is robinson is not a premier league defender but i think he will be fine in the championship plus that long throw will be a good weapon to have

There was a definite step up all over the pitch last night, definitely game of the season for me, by far the best performance.
