Robinson

To me, he's a similar player to rashford, always seems better playing wide facing the goal, rather than as a striker with back to goal.

Exactly this. He’s not a winger, he’s just better suited to being a wide forward in a three. He’ll learn.

can't knock his contribution so far this season........assist v Man U + goal v Chelsea..............not a bad start for someone taking a huge leap up

Seemed to have got his confidence back today. Maybe that goal for Ireland helped that

Was a totally different player to previous appearances we’ve seen from him today. Didn’t stop chasing the ball. I’m not his biggest fan at all but thought he was brilliant when he came on. Hope it’s not a one off.

It seems going away with Ireland and grabbing a goal for them has given him the boost he needed.

PLAY HIM ON THE WING he's a different player on the wing , all the squad is coming together now we really aught to go for the FA cup in a serious way this season to win something this year !

100% with that

Looks so much more confident out wide cutting in. The downside for Robinson is we don’t play this way so he’s relying on us being in a losing position to show us his best play. Two best performances have come from this, today and Chelsea.

Yep, did more in 10 minutes today than he has in every appearance since the Chelsea match.

We could do with this lad hitting a run of form, especially if Mousset is injured. He is the only other one who can stretch the game with pace.

We don’t play with wingers though?!

Hes not that fast. he looks fast compared to some of our players

He's not Mousset fast, but yes compared to some others he is a bit nippy.

He used to be rapid. I don’t know where that’s gone. That’s what’s most confusing for me.

Looked like a competition winner again today.
Before anyone says he needs time or needs to learn, he cost 6 million fucking quid.

Levels dropped again today. Agree, he was pretty useless. He picked up a bit in recent weeks though, so hopefully just another off day. Seems to spend a lot of time moaning about balls played into channels that he can't get to, rather than chasing the lost cause & gambling on a defensive error.

So if you pay £6m for someone, they're not allowed time to learn?

£6m in the PL, is the equivalent to around £250k in the championship, maybe similar to what we paid for Lundstram- who happens to be perfect example as to why we need to lst players develop and have patience.

I have to agree with this. When he came on against wolves and manure he looked hungry And chased things, but yesterday his arms flapped more than his legs moved. I don’t think it’s ability which is the problem here. It might take some time till he gets the Wildr way

Harsh. He'd have had a goal if either Lundstram or Didsy had picked out his run on the left. His neat touch also set that move up. He didn't look amazing, but I think we're still yet to see his best.

Also, if you reckon £6 million buys you instant impact at the Premier League, you're well off the mark.
