Robbo got spun by Coburn so easily for their goal (as did Anel). Robbo is a weak link, but Wilder made him undroppable when he gave him the armband. Holding has played over 100 games for Arsenal, he should not be sat on the bench behind Robbo.
Frustratingly, it always seems to be the case that the better player in front of Robbo gets injured (O Connell, Soutts) and our 'back up' becomes the main man (Robbo's played loads of games for us because of this). I'd like us to move to a point when we dont have Robbo as first or back up option, because he isnt good enough for a top Championship side, let alone the PL (where he has starred in two seasons worth of awful defending). Hence the club is making a mistake offering him a new deal, and it smacks of Wilder not learning lessons from Fleck, Norwood etc - i.e. not moving players on when they have got to the end of the road. In Robbo's case, he has never been good enough for the level we are at (and aiming to be at).
