Robinson

The trouble is we have been cobbling together an impressive run of results with Robinson in the side and apart from the bollock at Sunderland he has been mainly calamity free.I know a lot of us feel that he really shouldn’t be a ‘shoe in’,but he is the team captain and the manager knows him better than us,so he must be doing something right.
I think we have been dreading a run of defeats, because apart from a couple of good performances we have been unconvincing for a while,we just hoped we could get through the final few games without it catching up with us.
Unfortunately,we haven’t,but in all fairness and i am no fan of his,it’s not really down to Robinson, although i would prefer to give Holding a run in the side before we enter the dreaded play offs.

How many games have we turned it around after going a goal down?

In the last two games we’ve arguably looked even worse afterwards, where is this Captain Marvel that people keep defending.

I saw him having a petulant strop on the halfway line yesterday because Burrows was further away than JLT wanted, presumably because Burrows was expecting a repeat of the dreadfully overhit pass from 5mins earlier.

I honestly don’t see this leader that others see? Give the armband to Peck or Cooper any day. Next year Blaster should take it permanently.

Robbo got spun by Coburn so easily for their goal (as did Anel). Robbo is a weak link, but Wilder made him undroppable when he gave him the armband. Holding has played over 100 games for Arsenal, he should not be sat on the bench behind Robbo.

Frustratingly, it always seems to be the case that the better player in front of Robbo gets injured (O Connell, Soutts) and our 'back up' becomes the main man (Robbo's played loads of games for us because of this). I'd like us to move to a point when we dont have Robbo as first or back up option, because he isnt good enough for a top Championship side, let alone the PL (where he has starred in two seasons worth of awful defending). Hence the club is making a mistake offering him a new deal, and it smacks of Wilder not learning lessons from Fleck, Norwood etc - i.e. not moving players on when they have got to the end of the road. In Robbo's case, he has never been good enough for the level we are at (and aiming to be at).

Absolutely dreadful footballer who spits his dummy out when his shiteness is exposed and then just wants a punch up with everyone. Be a cheap season for me if he gets a new contract because I won't go anywhere near the Lane

He's a shit cunt.

Wilder can fuck off, picking him constantly when he's so obviously wank.

I've got a comment waiting approval so I'll just leave this in here to bump
