Can well believe that based on his persona when he's on the microphone. Comes across as totally obnoxious and arrogant.

I'd question the decent job thing as well. Won 29 out of 92 at Barnsley (according to Soccerbase), a worse record than the previous fat obnoxious wanker who was in charge at Oakwell.

It's funny about perception isn't it? There's no way I would have thought that pig faced wanker Davey would have had a superior win ratio than Robins. Robins I would have suggested has done a better job than his predecessor, but the facts make a liar out of me.

Simon Davey was harshly treat by Barnsley, he did a fantastic job for a while and wasn't it him who got them to an FA Cup semi final. Lets face it what do dingles expect? I think them avoiding the drop each season as with Doncaster is a huge achievement.
