Their xG was just under 1.5 and ours just under 1 so a draw would’ve probably been a fair result, they certainly didn’t batter us in terms of good chances created. That’s the championship though. There isn’t a huge amount of difference between top and bottom and games tend to be won on fine margins and, often, a bit of good fortune. We defended well, kept our shape and threw bodies on the line where necessary. A proper team performance. Got a bit lucky with the goal. City played OK and lost, just like we have a few times this season.
The championship is a grind and we had to grind one out last night. Job done.

Just watching it again and they whipped crosses in several times in the first half, 25 mins (Bash put it over the bar for a corner, could easily have been an og), 2 @ 30 minutes, one put out for a corner and 41 minutes, Weimann cross to Wells, another corner.

Agree, they had territory and put a lot of crosses in. I just don't think we were defending for our lives or they were inches away from scoring many times

They‘re a hard and dirty side I’m glad we had Robbo in the team as we’re a set of wusses, that said we played some tasty football just after the break but we did not deserve the win but again they might have hit the bar and the post with snap shots but nothing from their play carved us open to given them a goal.

QPR were/ area a much better team and looked so much better than us last night when they did it I don't think you can compare the two - maybe Birmingham and Blackpool last season better examples

They always flatter to deceive QPR. I went to Loftus road last season for their match v PNE, about this time of year actually. A great game and atmosphere which Rangers won
