Got a facebook "memories" notification about this this morning. Can't believe it's been 6 years. As said before, I'm too young to properly remember him, and I never went on any of his fabled away days, but I will always remember the brief nod and smile, and "eyup lad" that I got from him as a kid waiting for the bus to school.

We had just lost one of our own the day before and it may have affected the players
Most people that knew him well were in total shock at what had happened
Fair play to Crawley they treated the day with great respect
