They used to sell McChrystals snuff in The Washington on Devonshire Green. We always used to end up buying a tin and snorting it over the course of the evening, waking up in the morning with extremely black bogies. Horrible when I think about it now but I'm financially much better off than the idiots that used to pay £50 for a gram of coke on a night out.

That's just brought back a horrible memory of my dad's hankies! 🤮

Oh yes Blade by Choice it certainly does which pit were you mate I was at Brookhouse in Beighton 3 years in late 70's
1970’s was too soon for me, I started at Thurcroft in 1980 and stayed there till it shut, then to Rossington for a few years in the early 90’s.

I’ve still got my checks and locker key, and one of those big nappy pin things that used to fasten the big string bag full of dirty pit things.

Happy days.

Ahh, the old trumpet put down, one of mi favs use it a lot mi sen. Also your post is spot on.
What really pisses me off about this shite is some lovely silver haired granny who doesn’t know what she’s buying will waste 9 quid of her pension on this because its her grandsons birthday and he’s Blades mad.

I once bought a packet of Woodbines. I smoked 20 a day at the time and it was still like inhaling shrapnel and because of the lack of a filter tip it disintegrated on my lips so I had to spit bits of tobacco out between every drag.

Can we update the line to "like a menthol or fruit flavoured e-cig juice"?
What you forgot to do was to tap, end on, the ciggie on the pack or your thumb nail thus compacting the baccie in the paper cylinder. Oh din't we have fun in't olden days, no telly see, made yer own amusement.:)

Point taken, will she be buying it on E-bay? If lads happy wi' it and she is, at least some good came of it. The evil robbing bastard will get his comeupance one day.

I suspect Cerberus is smart enough to use it as a religious metaphor, ironically, when dealing with the subject song.

You could (and many do) argue that my doodles are shit - but at least I'm trying to cobble a living fairly and from my own hand.
I love the 'First View.' Brought a tear to my eye. I was with my uncle Charlie in '71 and the view was across the cricket wicket to the pavilion. Keep up the good work 👍
