So sad, do recognise his face from matches and goals. Plus I was brought up on Woodseats. RIP fella

Not seen a thread posted yet about him, but a Blade called Tom Dudley who was 31 past away recently.

Knew him from Primary School but hadn't kept in touch in recent years although I saw him at a few matches.

RIP
Sad news for his family and friends. RIP

Terrible news. Reading the Star article brought a lump to my throat. He seemed such a great lad with a lovely family.

RIP Blade Tom.

Far far too young to go. Only just starting with life and parenthood. Very sad.

He sounds like he was a top young lad. RIP fella. I'm sure your young family will always have you in their hearts.

Glowing references from his friends there. So sad at such a young age and for those kids to lose their dad before they even knew him hits me hard as a father of young girls. RIP

Must have been a few years behind me at Silverdale can't recall knowing him tho.

Extremely sad. RIP mate and thoughts with the young family.

I also know Tom from School, dead nice lad, RIP Tom x

RIP Tom,
Very sad, 31 is no age.
Thoughts are with his family especially his daughters who will find this impossible to comprehend

It's absolutely heartbreaking when you hear about things like this

He was in my year at Silverdale. His dad was a director and on the board at United in the early 2000s I believe. So sad for his family and his kids. RIP

Very sad. Sounds like a lovely young family struck with something tragic. Shame the kids won't have the chance to know what a lovely Dad they had.

Think we all hug our kids a little tighter and be thankful. Like is so precious.

All the best to his family. Thoughts with them all at what must be such a difficult time.

I knew Tom as he was friends with my wife and he was genuinely one of the nicest blokes you could meet - he never had a bad word to say about anybody. It's such a tragedy :(

Family member of mine unfortunately only 24 allowed at his funeral but there’s plans for those who want to attend but obviously can’t to line the route outside the crematorium. Anyone who wants to do so should check his sister Hannah or olivias Facebook for details or message me and I’ll pass on the details. It’s been a massive shock for everyone obviously spent many years going to the lane with him the promotion away day at MK dons a particular highlight.

Mick's lads went to my school in NE Derbys but this lad may well be related

Sorry for you all mate ❤

Life just isn't fair.

He's david and Stevens half brother .Tom was a regular in the queen's at Ridgeway ,and a really great lad .everybody will be gutted .

He’s another one of Mick’s but a lot younger than David and Steven.
Wow. Didnt know that ☹

I wasn't aware Mick had any other kids.

Only knew him from Ridgeway.

David and Steve both a bit younger than me. Different lads in some ways and obviously Steve chose a different allegiance.

My old girlfriend from years ago was friends with Steve's wife and her Dad was a mate of one of my old mates.

Genuinely shocked to read that.

My condolences to everyone.
