We've all been focussing on the lack of strikers but the right back situation seems to have gone under the radar - we had to sacrifice Basham at the weekend, after his best midfield display to date the previous week, and are now having to play Flynn there. I know that Alcock was woeful in his last game but he was ok before that and do we genuinely not have another recognised right back in the club?!!

I wouldn't say the right back "crisis" has gone completely unnoticed ;)

I thought Flynn did ok there last night but still got skinned a couple of times and MK didn't take full advantage.

I'd also like to see Murphy playing as centre-forward in a 4-4-2 after his great performance there against Notts County but Flynn having to play right back means we're even less likely to try that.

Clough knows we're short of a good attacking right back as he was on the brink of signing Freeman before the deal fell through. I can't understand why he didn't pursue an alternative option as it's a major weakness in the squad.

We have Liverpool youngster Nathan Sheron on trial, (age 17), he played right back in Saturday`s U18 game v Birmingham.

Looking like a worrying position at the moment 😬

Clarke, Gilchrist, Shackleton and Seriki all can't start as of now.

Seriki needs building up to play the 2nd half at Hillsborough. He will be vital in that game. 30 minutes or so in these next 2 games would be ideal
