It's not a dig at the board or the club. More of an observation that there doesn't seem to be many players available this January. Therefore, we may end having to get players who are cheaper because they're from lower divisions.

Well I don't think we currently have a scouting network that extends beyond these shores. So any foreign option might be a bit of a punt, which I think they're unlikely to take

Toney was a lot more prolific than RJJ at Peterborough and had the physical attributes to step up.

RJJ isn't a skilful footballer.
He's rapid, but has very little technical ability. He isn't a great finisher either.

If it's £1-2m and we're seeing him as someone to throw on and disrupt the opposition towards the end of games, maybe he could do something.
Beyond that, I wouldn't expect a lot from him.

Poku has a higher ceiling, but is injured.

Appreciate Peterborough have a good track record with strikers but I honestly can't see the fuss with this one.

Could have been a professional sprinter if he chose, less than 1 second slower than Usain Bolt.

He's pretty similar to Burke in that, he isn't a particularly good footballer.

People forget that he isn't playing with the quality of Hamer Souza Ahmedhodzic Burrows I do think he would a realistic option and a good one I don't get the meltdown from some people.

I agree - just watched Forest v Liverpool and Forest have a number of players with frightening pace but average ability. When games get stretched or when playing on the counter, pace is hugely important and we haven’t got enough of it at the moment.
