Just checked on BBC football website(at 14.57) Holmes no longer in line-up or a sub.
 

It’s a fairly minor point, but were one of our key players to suddenly be pictured as guests of a club they’ve been linked to for a move while still under contract, we’d be rightly fairly furious. It shows the utter disregard the Charlton owners have for their fans, and I don’t think it reflects well on Holmes either for this information to come out this way. Happy to see him joining mind...
 
This will be a fantastic signing. Really excited to see what he brings to the team if we get him.

In fairness Karl Robinson has kept fans informed in his pre match press brief on Thurs (i think). He said that the situation needs resolving in response to the interest....
 
Kind of puts to bed the notion that Wilder had the lousiest budget imaginable. When/if the Holmes transfer is announced we'll have had an excellent transfer window. Expectations will, of course, be high. But as with any new player, and don't forget this gives us 4 (assuming RH signs), there'll need to be time and patience as they get to know what's required/demanded of them. Wilder has bought well, so heads up those who were ready to focus on nothing but negatives after last night. Let's hope that the signing of these players will offer the new creative options that some have called for.
