Yeah there are a lot of quotes of him not being good enough for a promotion candidate but defintely seems a solid Championship player. Seems the exact sort of character Wilder would go for too. Played over 50 games at Premiership level aswell
 



Presumably a loan. Would prefer perm, but if there's no recall, that's fine by me.
 
They didn't he same with Hussey and Duffy last year, accidentally uploaded the video of them being interviewed before it was announced officially
 
Good solid Championship signing for me, exactly the type of player we should be targeting and lets face it, that's our market-place at the moment. Interesting to see where he would play....RCB would be his best position and with JOC at LCB that still leaves a CB required for me...unless he sees Stearman as the CB with Bash RCB?

I remember that too......maybe it is the first of a double signing announcement!!

I think we'll see much more 4-4-2 next season. Additionally, Jake Wright will be given a chance as the organiser in CB; not that I don't think we'll see another come in....

I'm also hopeful that there was a case of Chinese whispers, and this is experienced former Wolves defender we were in for....

actually you don't get a 404 error - try altering any of the characters in the last part of the link to make it invalid, it doesn't give an error. So it might just be what you said or it might be a hoax (an elaborate one if it is).
 
If the reason he hasn't been announced is because we're waiting to announce a double signing then I'll bet the second is another lad who's barely/not been mentioned at all!

why do you seem disappointed that we would sign players that other teams/managers deem not good enough, doesn't mean they won't be good enough to play for us
 
Maybe we'll still sign EEL actually - I think Stearman will be for the central role in the back 3. We'll still be in for Lenihan and it doesn't seem like he'd be an option in that position. If we don't get Lenihan maybe then we'll get EEL.

No doubt we will play 4 at the back more often though. And having a Stearman/O'Connell partnership as our minimum at this early stage is a real positive. Two good players, Championship experience and a suitable partnership.

I think it's far more likely that it was posted to early and removed or just a draft.

There's a picture of him with Wilder, holding the shirt, not sure there's any reason to doubt it

I was thinking that about EEL, and I'd now feel much more comfortable signing him now we have another, more experienced CB that he can further his development under
 
Like how they got the word 'substantial' in there

He'd certainly improve the half time entertainment - a huge upgrade on the durge that Gary Sinclair plays.
 
Poor player awful signing. Just goes to show the limitations of our ambitions.
 
Shield and Buchan have both confirmed it on twitter
